Rock Shader (Displacement)

Jumped back into the rock shader and made displacement shader. Similar noise displacement as Mantra Surface Shader but the displacement were still rendered even though noise aren't enabled, so "disable displacement at rendering" parm was installed to avoid computing it during test-rendering.

Edited the parms in the shader.
Save out rocks & proxy preview test

Bryan was working on the file saving out a couple more rocks from his rock_generator.
Subsequently, i was experimenting with trying to preview instance objects not just only as bounding boxes but as low-poly representations of the rock geometries. So here have "PolyReduce SOP" decreasing polycounts and sending it out to be used for the proxy preview network inside of "rock_instancer" object. Apparently there's a couple of ways to do it, but right now I am reading the point-instancing topic under old school blog on...
Painting small rocks onto main terrain

As mentioned previously, the templates used for instancing the rocks had been broken up into foreground, midground & background chains.
Here more groups are made, i was trying out "GroupPaint SOP" instead of "Delete SOP", this way anyone would be able to instance small rocks at anywhere they paint.
The painting visualization was working and i can see i am adding points to the group but it doesn't look like it is selecting those points and instancing the small rocks onto those painted areas... Something so simple just didn't work as expected!
Lighting_Set_02
Worked on the lighting again, had around 3-4 iterations of renders left overnight for the following day's review but sorry I am unable to upload them as I couldn't retrieve them from my user profile. I am always sent to a temporary profile each time after having my password reset at helpdesk, hope they aren't deleted.
