
Carried on working on the shader using noises and wood. The cell-like displacement is coming from the turbNoise, the pattern looks more rigid now than before. It still look strange when i apply it to the rock model.

Wanted to try build a simple surface/displacement shader on my own, whether i could make something that works... Really simple surface from wood, then using a bump node for displacement with a image texture. The grid was breaking apart which i remembered it was due to displacement bound which can be installed in a properties node.
Spent time updating my blog for the past few days as some of the informations were not documented.
